Hello! My name is Carlie Vickers. I was born and raised in New Site, Alabama. I graduated Horseshoe Bend High School in 2012. After high school, I attended Southern Union State Community College for two years. I then transferred to Troy University and graduated in the Fall of 2017 with a degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching 4th Grade at Holtville Elementary School since 2018. I am also a Volleyball coach at Holtville High School.
I am a big Alabama fan and I love to be at Bryant-Denny on Saturday’s in the Fall. I have a Mini Australian Sheppard named Harley. She’s the sweetest! When I am not at school, I love to spend time with my family and friends.
I have always wanted to be a teacher, and I know this career is what God intended for me to do. I really enjoy working at HES. I truly love what I do every day, and I take my job very seriously and strive to be the best teacher I can be.
