After graduating from Wetumpka High School, I attended AUM and Troy University Montgomery, I received a BSBA from Troy with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. I worked in the banking industry for 10 years. I began my career in education as a paraprofessional at Holtville Elementary School in 2004. After 5 years, I enrolled in AUM's alternate master's program in Early Childhood Special Education. Upon graduation, I accepted a position in Montgomery County as a preschool inclusion special education teacher. After 3 years in this position, Elmore County Special Education Department hired me as a preschool special education teacher. This school year, I transferred to Holtville Elementary School as the special education teacher in the multi-disabilities classroom. It's great to be back at Holtville Elementary School!
