I have worked in the education field for 22 years. Three of my four children have or will graduate from Holtville High School. I have worked with 2 authors to publish 2 books on the events of April 27, 2011, when my 21 year old daughter, Loryn, was killed in the tornadoes that ravaged this great state. I am currently working on a 3rd book that will be a elementary school level book to help raise awareness of tornado preparedness. I will also be filming a 2nd documentary with Discovery Channel summer of 2020. I love working at HES, I often refer to HES as "The Land of The Huggers."
