B.S. Elementary Education at Auburn University of Montgomery and my Master's Degree from University of West Alabama.

I have been teaching kindergarten at Holtville for 15 years. I have worked during the summer with summer programs, coached high school cheerleaders as well as allstar cheerleaders. 

My name is Sheila Knight. I was born in Montgomery and raised in Millbrook where I currently reside.  I graduated from Stanhope Elmore High School (Class of 1990) and continued my education at Auburn University of Montgomery. I recently married Jimmy Lynn, at the end of this school year I will change my last name to Lynn.

I have three wonderful kids that have begun their own second stage of their lives. My son Brock now lives in Millbrook with his wife and daughter. My daughter Brianna had graduated from Columbus State University in Georgia and married Austin Boykin. Savannah completed her college courses online and earned her Associates degree. She has also completed her degree to become a Dental Hygienist. Savannah is now married to Demetrias Blackmon and has my wonderful grand daughter.

I have always felt that teaching is my calling in life. I enjoy being with children and watching them absorb knowledge as it presented/modeled for them.  I am a very structured teacher as well as disciplined. I work to help your child reach the appropriate level of independence needed to function in my classroom and first grade. During the summer I refresh my knowledge and strategies for guided reading, math, and whole brain teaching.
