Bio
My name is Krystal Davis and I am a 4th Grade teacher here at Holtville Elementary. I grew up in Killeen, Texas, but as the child of an Army parent I have lived all over the world. I currently live in Montgomery, AL with my seven-year old daughter, Karsyn.
I graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery in 2013 with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I received my Masters in Special Education-Collaborative K-6 in 2017, and my Ed.S in Special Education-Collaborative K-6 in 2020 from University of West Alabama.
I completed my internship here at Holtville Elementary and also at Holtville Middle School. I worked as a paraprofessional for half a year before I began working as a 3rd Grade teacher in 2014. I transitioned to teaching 4th Grade in 2021, and I have greatly enjoyed all of my teaching experiences. I enjoy serving as the Technology Coordinator and co-sponsor for Student Council, as well as being a part of the summer literacy programs we offer at Holtville Elementary.
Education has been integral in my life, and it has always been a passion of mine to teach children. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to teach, and I enjoy building connections with my students and their families for years to come.
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." -Nelson Mandela
